One way we use to improve movement is through the use of Stick Mobility.
Stick Mobility is a training system that improves your mobility, stability, and strength.
The system combines joint mobilization, strength training, and deep fascial stretching to increase athletic performance, reduce risk of injury, and speed recovery.
The exercises use the Mobility Stick as a tool to improve range of motion, muscle activation, coordination, and body awareness to build a strong foundation for better movement. Our system is based on the scientific principles of leverage, stability, feedback, irradiation, isometrics, and coordination

Online training is perfect for those people that wish to workout on their own, in their home, or at their own gym but don’t need the 1 on 1 accountability and focus that in person training provides.
This is also a great option for in person clients who want to receive additional training when they are not with us in the gym.
Titleist Performance Institute Assessment for Online Training
There are two options for assessment when starting an online program, depending on your location, goals, and exercise history.
Option 1 – In Person Assessment
For those clients who live in the Tampa area, 2 in person sessions at Tampa Strength, is the best way to get started.
During these sessions we will do a complete TPI Assessment and a basic movement assessment.
We will discuss your personal goals, time restraints, current equipment and any other factors that I may need to keep in mind when developing your program.
The goal of these sessions is to figure out the perfect plan for your golf performance program so I can devise a custom 12 week program that will deliver results and focus on your specific goals.
Option 2 – Online Assessment
If you do not live in the Tampa area but still want to have us build you a custom program to do on your own, we will start with a TPI assessment done via Skype. After completing the assessment we will go over specifics regarding results of the assessment, goals, time restraints, equipment availability, and anything else you feel is important to your success. I will then write you a complete 12 week program depending on your needs.
*During the 12 week program you will have access to me via email/text to answer questions regarding your program. Updates to your program and additional online meetings can be done at any time if you feel you need extra support.

The golf swing is an athletic movement that requires mobility, flexibility, stability, strength and power. Restrictions throughout the body can cause some of the common swing faults such as loss of posture, swaying, over the top and scooping. Utilizing the Titleist Performance Institute’s physical screening process, we will isolate any physical limitations and correlate these findings to your swing. For example, if a golfer has an incomplete shoulder turn, it’s likely there is a physical limitation in the lat muscle, shoulder area or thoracic spine. Trying to get a client to “turn more” when they are physically unable to is illogical.
A TPI screening would verify this restriction and an exercise program can be started to address the limitation. A golfer can ONLY do what they are physically capable of doing…nothing more.
This screening is the same that TPI uses on PGA and LPGA tour pros.

An incredible amount of data on players of all shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness levels has been gathered during this time. Using this data, TPI discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible.
Additionally, TPI has analyzed how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury. All this data is used in creating your TPI assessment.
